2019 Mr. Bannock Menu Selection
Traditional Indigenous bannock was made from corn, nut meal or flour made ground plant bulbs, we also used various fresh or dried fruits. The cooking methods before oil and cast iron were rolling in sand and then pit cooking, baking in clay or stone ovens or roasted on a stick over open fire. This year we are going to be a few of these styles throughout the year so keep an eye out!
